BANGKOK TOURS WITH A PRIVATE TOUR GUIDE

Air and Mr A picked us up from our cruise ship dock and gave us a fabulous tour of Bangkok. We spent the night in the city and saw so much more than any of our ship excursions and were returned to our port with plenty of time. Absolutely fantastic tour and highly recommend.
Tour highlight: I loved visiting Chinatown and tasting new foods. The massage at Wat Pho was awesome. The next day tours of the grand palace and wat pho were beautiful.

It was a very interesting and varied day, if quite a long day. It was lovely to spend the day with Air again. I loved her interest in the fresh food market and she made the whole day a lot of fun.

Fantastic tour. Saw the War Cemetery, Bridge on the Kwai, Hellfire Pass and a short boat trip. Lunch was at our own expense but the tour guide took us to a great location. Nes was awesome and informative and her efficiency meant we could pack the day with loads of things. I’d recommend this tour for everyone, very moving.

If you look for the Pete Birch review on Google that was my Day 1 review. Day 2 we went to the Railway Market, two floating market and a coconut farm. I can’t speak highly enough of BKK and Nes our tour guide. Their inside knowledge is second to none. At the Railway Market there were hundreds of people. Despite that Nes organised us prime spots at a cafe. Out of all the crowd we got to hand some drinks to the train guard. Similar at the floating market, we left the tourist track and got to see some of the real back canals. The best tour experience we have had in the world.

Decided we wanted guided tours of Bangkok so booked three separate tours with BKK and will leave a review of each. Michael, owner, communicated brilliantly throughout the booking process. We paid into their Wise Australia account which was great as we could see the transfer recipient which means the transaction is safe. First tour completed today with Nes, the Highlights Tour. Train trip to the Grand Palace, boat ride through Old Bangkok, a couple more temples, lunch and then the flower and vegetable markets. With a couple of Tuk Tuk rides in the middle. Obviously the temples are stunning but loved the boat ride around the old town fronts. Massive monitor lizards on show, much bigger than you see in the parks. Nes was brilliant and informative. Can’t wait for our next two trips, Railway/Floating Markets and The River Kwai. I’ll review these separately.

A+.Polecam bardzo. Nasza grupa 14 osób była bardzo zadowolona. Mieliśmy 2 dniową wycieczkę po Bangkoku. Lucky i Air były niesamowite. Wszystko było na czas, wygodnie przemieszczaliśmy się z miejsca na miejsce w komfortowych vanach, w których cały czas dostępna była zimna woda i mokre ręczniki.

Everything about this tour was excellent. Ms Lucky and our driver were both great, on time, polite and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The variety of interesting places and experiences were very well balanced, offfering a highlights tour that we would recommend to anyone interested in seeing the city and what it has to offer. The minivan was extremely comfortable and our driver coordinated well with our guide, making drop offs and pick ups at various locations, very smooth and easy. We were able to tailor our day out to take in a couple of fantastic temples, a boat ride on the canals, lunch, markets and China Town. Nothing was too much bother for our guide and she always made sure we were safe, comfortable, refreshed and happy. An excellent experience all round.
