Biking is the best way to avoid the traffic and pollution in Bangkok. This biking trip is mostly out of traffic and one will be taken away from the busy city through out the small streets to the countryside of Bangkok by a local guide.

Explore the small alleys in Chinatown, get the spiritual impression from local Thai and Chinese temples, try local food, see life of local people, visit the local markets and have a nice talk with local people. And most of all you will discover why Thailand is called 'land of smiles'.

This tour has two versions, the long version takes you also on a longtail boat and you can see how local people living beside the canals. This will bring us to visit the plantation area. One will enjoy biking along the small passage ways in the villages, over the canals, seeing how local people working on their plantations. This long version tour includes a nice local meal.

This tour is organized by the wellknown Dutch man Mr. Co van Kessel who has lots of experience about the geography of Bangkok. He was the first to start biking tours in Bangkok.

This biking trip will start from the heart of China town at the Grand China Princess Hotel and will bring you to see the countryside of Bangkok. Starting time is 7AM for the morning tour and 1PM for the afternoon tour. The classical short trip of 3 hours can start at 8AM or 2PM. All trips are very relaxing and enjoyable. It is most of all a sightseeing tour.

The price is 1,350 Baht for a trip of five hours or 950 Baht for a trip of three hours. Included are: English or Dutch speaking tour leader, English speaking assistant, tea & coffee at the hotel lobby, drinking water, juice, fruits, snacks, bicycle, boat fees and travel insurance. The long version includes a long tail boat and a local meal.

Advisable things you need on the trip are comfortable sport shoe or closed shoe, light clothes, sun cream, sun hat or cap and don't forget your camera and sun glasses.
